Viewers have expressed their outrage as popular wizened old trout Arlene Phillips was replaced by Star Wars droid R2-D2 on BBC One hit show Strictly Come Dancing."You couldn't make it up," froths Richard Littlejohn in the Daily Mail, "Everybody I know says they should have gone for C-3PO. After all, Threepio's a protocol droid, but they had to go for the minority. It's political correctness gone mad."
