VOTE FOR ME IN THE UK'S FUNNIEST BLOG COMPETITION

Shamelessly cross-posted from APILN:

I'm delighted to announce that Angry People in Local Newspapers has been nominated in the competition to find the UK's funniest blog. Of course, it's a huge honour to be recognised for the second year in a row, and I could really use that top prize (not the tablet - the beer fund).

So! If you love pictures of angry people pointing at dog turds, and think I should be named the UK's funniest blog, skip along here and vote for me. As an added bonus, should I win, I will endeavour to make an appearance in the Fleet News and Mail pointing angrily at something.

If I don't win, I'll send Sausage Lady round your house.

Thank you for your support. I will wear it always.

Voted after I had a word with the organisers. It's a 200lb bear fun - Ha ha.

Reminds me of a dog I once knew, named Doo Dah.

One of the greatest dog names ever, especially for a Basset.

Good luck with the competition. You get my vote.

One of the cards on the website, SatNav says Bear Left. And there was a bear there of course. So I guess some are accurate after all.

Coat getting I am.

Cripes, Scary, my punishment for having gone to the Doo Dahs site is now that their awful, ugly animated dog ad shows up on The New York Times science article I just went to read.
God, no good deed goes unpunished on the web.

I should have said,
'Dog, no good deed goes unpunished on the web.'

Now the damn thing is going to follow me around like that terrier on Doc Martin. Only that terrier is a lot cuter.

Thanks, CC. I did just that. Just ticks me off that I should even have to, given the circumstances.
