Last year, I donated my wooden elephants from the Congo to The Boat Project, part of the Cultural Olympiad, in which a sea-going craft is constructed entirely from donated materials.I was more than pleased, then, to see one of my elephants appear in news outlets as the craft was launched last week.
If it sinks, don't come running to me.
