For reasons unknown, I suddently had the urge to listen to the entire canon of 80s/90s baroque popsters Talk Talk. All five albums, including the two achingly good arty ones at the end of their career on repeat for the last five days.
To be honest, I'm all Talk Talked-out now.

Nonsense, Mr. Duck, you're now a man "of a certain age" and "andropause" is kicking in something fierce - the reasons are well known.
Read Proust until this nostalgia passes, or you infarct from excessive Madeleine consumption, which ever comes first.
I'm still not sure about Laughing Stock. It is gorgeous prototype postrRock, but I still find it a bit too 'out there'. Colour Of Spring is my absolute favourite - one of my favourite albums of all time. A perfect combination of the arty later stuff and the early pop tunes.
I assume that you have a copy of the Mark Hollis solo album as well :)
