On the devious nature of the oil industry

On the devious nature of the oil industry

You just can't trust anybody these days:

"I'm just off to the BP garage to fill the car up with petrol"

"You do realise they water it down, don't you?"

"They do? Waaait...what with? Everybody knows water and petrol don't mix."

"Err... paraffin."

"The devious buggers."

Except of course, on coastlines. Where BP is diluting its petrol with puffin.
Thank you. I'm here all week.

Could the oil spill merely be "research" into how to get oil and water to mix?

Devious buggers indeed.

Seems to me like they mixed quite well.

Totally off topic... Yopu favourite & mine WeBuyAnyCar emailed me today (despite numerous "unsubscribe" emails, of course):

"...We will buy your car for £50.00 ... You're now just a step away from a hassle-free sale..." etc. etc.
Blimy. I let it go for 40. How stupid am I?

However, further down the email in font size extra-tiny:
"...An administration fee applies on purchase of the vehicle. Based on a purchase price of £50.00, a fee of £49.99 including VAT would apply."

Ooh, ooh, where do I sign?
