I'm a pretty tolerant man, and I can put up with a lot. As a moderator on a well known community web forum, I take a lot of abuse from half-wits, but it's (mostly) water of a duck's back. However, in the world of work this is different, and I make this vow:
I will not take part in any workplace meeting that is advertised as a "huddle", EVEN if actual huddling takes place
Furthermore:
I will not take part in any workplace meeting that is advertised as a "wash-up", ESPECIALLY if actual washing-up takes place
I hope I have made myself clear
See also: Standing meetings, any meeting held by somebody who has just returned from a management course called (for example) "Unlocking Potential"
The value of this refusal may go down as well as up, and will involve happily attending meetings called "huddles" and "wash-ups"

A company I used to work for used to have Pre-Meeting Meetings. This was so we could get 'our ducks in a row'
Whether any ducks were involved I could not say as I never went to one.
(oh great instead of 2 words I can't make out your 'Capcha' is now a word I can't make out and a blurry photo)
Can I add, and meetings that are scheduled just before or after lunch. I'm not coming.
Ah yes, new blurry photo Capcha. Such fun. Do you have that many spammers? Won't you just get rid? Pleeeease? I had to refresh it 8 times on this comment until I found one I could read!
I'm up for a brain orgy.
We used to have huddles in my last job, and we usually stood up, because it was a quick meeting before the store opened.
We have huddles where everyone stands. I tend to lean against the wall, waiting for my chance to make a break for it.
I've never been asked to attend a meeting. People don't value my input as much as they should.
